UppRise began in 2025 as a grassroots effort to address a critical gap in York County: helping vulnerable individuals and families navigate complex benefit systems with dignity and ease. Founded on the belief that no one should struggle alone to access essential resources, our work started with simple acts of service—completing paperwork, clarifying eligibility requirements, faxing documents to agencies, and persistently advocating for those overwhelmed by bureaucratic barriers.
As demand grew, so did our vision. What began as one-on-one assistance evolved into an organized movement, uniting volunteers, community partners, and dedicated professionals to systematize support for those most in need. Today, UppRise is a trusted nonprofit providing comprehensive case management, resource navigation, and advocacy services to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and low-income families.
