Emergencies don’t wait—and neither should your preparedness plan. UppRise’s Family Emergency Preparedness Program equips vulnerable seniors and individuals with disabilities in York County with the tools, training, and tailored support they need to face disasters confidently.


What We Provide

1. Personal Emergency Kits

Every kit includes:

  • 🔦 LED flashlight with extra batteries
  • 🔋 Portable power bank for medical devices (e.g., oxygen concentrators)
  • 📞 Laminated emergency contact list (family, doctors, UppRise)
  • 🚰 3-day water pouches + non-perishable food
  • 🩹 First-aid supplies + 7-day medication organizer
  • ✅ Custom add-ons: Whistles, thermal blankets, or N95 masks as needed

2. Customized Preparedness Plans

Our specialists work 1:1 with you to:
